BIOGRAPHY
Ms. Virginia Faye Lawhon Scarpello, 68, died December 17, 2017 at her home in Sanford, FL.
Faye was born in Ft. Pierce, she lived in Vero Beach for 9 years before moving to West Palm Beach where she remained for 40 years, only recently moving to Sanford. She was a graduate of Palm Beach High School Class of 1967.
Faye had a long career with Bellsouth Telephone Company that spanned 33 years before her retirement in 2004.
Survivors include her sister, Barbara Carolyn Lawhon of Gunbarrel City, TX; nephews, Kevin Ira McElroy of Geneva, FL, Gordon Wayne McElroy of Sanford, FL, Roger Darrell Lawhon II, of Alabama, Kenneth Edward Lawhon of Florida, Ronald Alan Almaraz of Gunbarrelcity, TX, Michael Gary Almaraz of Fort Worth, TX and Jeffery Brian Almaraz of Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Samuel and Dorothy Marie Lawhon; sister, Mary Louise Lawhon McElroy and a brother Roger Darrell Lawhon.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at Strunk Funeral Home, Vero Beach.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday December 29, 2017 Strunk Funeral Home followed by interment in Winter Beach Cemetery.
