PBHS In Memory

Marjorie H. Freedman (Farrington) - Class Of 1941

Mrs. Farrington was employed by Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. as soon as she graduated and worked their for 42 years!! She was the most well known and the most loved of anyone I have ever seen. It took two separate rooms to hold all the people and flowers at her funeral. Mama I still miss you terribly. In her eary 50's she went to college to receive her business degree. She did not have a computer, but years ago she bought a set of encyclopedia's and educated herself on many different things. She courageously stayed married to my father for 48 years. Whew! she is interred on "the other hill" in Hillcrest Memorial Cemetary. She knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior and is in Heaven with God not in the Grave.

She passed away from a Heart Attack

Survived by her daughter: Diane Farrington Morton  and her son: Donald Jeffrey Farrington
