GILES, Sr., Edwin Freeman Edwin Freeman Giles, Sr. "Eddie" died peacefully in Jupiter, Florida on October 15, 2017 at the age of 91. A loving husband, a caring and giving father and grandfather, Eddie loved his family deeply and was so proud of each and every one of them. He is survived by his "Sweetie" of 59 years Audrey O'Neal Giles: Loving father of Jeff (Melanie), Eddie (Glenda), Robin (Tom), Charlie (Cindy), David (Louise), beloved grandfather of 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Eddie was preceded in death by his brother Charles A. Giles. Eddie was born on October 25, 1925 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Harold and Mae Giles. A graduate of Palm Beach High, he was the President and Owner of Overland Construction Company, master carpenter and Freemason. Eddie loved to fish and enjoyed (as he called it) a three year cruise in the Unites States Navy aboard the USS Huse during World War II as a First Class Petty Officer Radar Operator. He was a super, special, wonderful husband and father and beloved member of Harvest Community Church. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 10:00AM to 11:00AM with a funeral service at 11:00AM at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home at 250 Center Street, Jupiter, Florida 33458.
